Earwax Removal 👂
Earwax buildup can cause hearing problems, ringing, dizziness, and ear pain. At LiveYoung, our physicians perform safe ear irrigation (ear flushing) to remove blockages.
OHIP Coverage for Earwax Removal
- 🟦 Covered by OHIP if earwax causes symptoms such as hearing loss, infection, dizziness, or if it prevents proper examination of the ear.
- 💳 Not covered by OHIP when requested for routine cleaning, prevention, or cosmetic reasons. Private fees apply.
⚠️ Avoid using cotton swabs or sharp objects at home, as they may push wax deeper or injure your eardrum.
What to Expect
