Dr. Maher Girgis is a caring and experienced family physician, with over 30 years of medical practice in Canada and abroad.

He has extensive experience serving communities across Newfoundland & Labrador, including work with the Labrador–Grenfell Regional Health Authority, before establishing his practice at Live Young Medical Centre.

Dr. Girgis enjoys building lasting relationships with his patients and providing comprehensive care for individuals and families, including routine check-ups, chronic disease management, preventive health, and urgent care.

He is also skilled in minor procedures, such as skin biopsies, wart and lesion removal, joint and allergy injections, and other office-based interventions. Known for his friendly, approachable style, Dr. Girgis takes the time to listen, educate, and support his patients, helping them feel confident and comfortable in their healthcare journey.
